Hi Y’all,

I’m John, and I play guitar in Sidestep Dog. We’re an emo/alt-rock 5 piece out of Greenville, SC and are trying to play in Charleston again this summer after our show at Tin Roof as part of our album release tour last August. 3 of us have been friends for 10+ years and have always wanted to make music together, and after adding a couple more members we got to work on getting the angst out

We put out our debut album, All of My Friends Are In This Room, last August. We are super proud of it, but recently underwent a lineup change with a new singer and are writing some heavier stuff inspired by Senses Fail, Armor for Sleep, Anxious, etc. Our song “Ghost Beach” is one of the heavier tracks from the album and we think it best represents the direction we’re going in, take a listen and let us know what you think!
