Another band that I really can’t get enough of… I am proud to say that I was in attendance for the Chicago run in 2021 that was given an official release. I got to go with four of my best friends from college and we had a crazy weekend.
That live album has been in full rotation lately but especially the last song, “Phone Went West.”
This is top level My Morning Jacket in my opinion, but if you want to go even harder the Dondante from that same show is over 20 minutes long

September tour dates include a stop in Charleston. Pairing with Nataniel Ratliffe & The Night Sweats. Some people find that to be an odd pairing, which it admittedly is, but I dig Nathaniel and I’ll be glad to catch him too.
Some people were also saying on Reddit that they wish MMJ would take a break from the road and let the momentum build up again. That I don’t necessarily agree with, because I think the band is fresh off the hottest summer tour possibly of their entire career so far.
Hopefully they can continue to pack heaters come Fall.
