Hey folks, my name is Roger and I’ve been making music under Mindwater for a looong time. My latest release, Black Mountain, is a deep dark blend of delicate fingerpicked folk styles and brain blurring psychedelic soundscapes. The album was born out of a solo camping trip I took, and plays out like a story of someone walking through the mountains and beyond.

The full length album comes with:

• a CD w/case
• a 12 page book of drawings and lyrics
• a QR code that leads to a website featuring a high quality download of the album, a player that streams the songs, a 100 page story (with photos), and a bonus track

It’s on Bandcamp if anyone is interested in listening or grabbing a physical copy. I currently am not participating in “the streaming services.”

I’m on the bill this Friday at Rebel Taqueria. I had a lotta fun last time I was there, it’s gonna be a sweet one. Loratadine is good music, and I haven’t seen the other acts, but I’ve heard little bits online and they seem like good music.

You’re welcome and thank you too! I think this place has a lot of potential to grow and become a big part of the local music scene. Hope things are well in Austin too! I can’t help but be a little jealous of all the venues and artists out there, but that’s life and shit.
