There has been a lot of pushback against Spotify lately, with several major artists choosing to leave the streaming platform.
This resulted from the CEO Daniel Ek investing in the AI weapons company Helsing, something that is fully against the values of just about every musician.
Of course, this comes after a decade-plus of the platform exploiting artists for financial gain, collaborating with major labels to give the illusion of organic discovery, while helping to diminish the DIY music scene in the process due to the whitewashing of musical tastes.
