in reply to: New Music 2025
This one released yesterday and I just finished video edits. I wrote the song 6 years ago, recorded it 4 ago with Wolfgang Zimmerman and Christian Chidester. It was the second or third song we all developed together… It’s been a long time coming. Actually, it sounds pretty true to the iphone demo. Maybe I will share that file later on.
Honestly, I didn’t really want to talk about this song, as the subject matter is dated (I’ve already received messages from folks showing concern for my current well-being and makes me want to run and hide). I was planning to just quietly release and move on to the next one. I decided to go ahead and put in the extra work. The gist of my “why” is.. No one is impervious to depression so I wanna glorify the means of escaping ourselves and finding healthy routes to hope/cope. This ballad is preaching ‘one step at a time’, ‘mind over matter’, ‘what is for you, will find you’ etc.
Watch the music video while I have you here. You are also welcome to listen on Spotify, or Apple, Bandcamp, etc.

Stay true,
~ Sarah

in reply to: A.I. in MusicWhen someone wants to calm themselves, or commiserate, or feel even better, they search out the sounds that give way to those vibrations. I think people that are intuitive will notice the spirit enveloped in real, man/woman made music. AI is not capable of such because it has no soul.
Then again, there are tons of absent minded folks walking around, bobbing their heads without even thinking. I’m one of them, once in while. Not as much with music but with many other things.
How our brains function, the way computers further learn to manipulate our brains… It really just depends on time and what permissions we allow. We all run on electricity after all, heart and mind. Even conception begins with a spark.
There are only more questions.
God speed.

in reply to: Extrachill.Link Early User Feedbackin reply to: Welcomehey, @headliner wanna post some links to your music? Would like to hear what you’ve got going on!
in reply to: Extrachill.Link Early User FeedbackThe new link in bio tool is great! Already have testing mine on instagram. As I am customizing it is showing me a toggle, “Disable Inline YouTube Video Player”, and I do not have this toggle selected yet the youtube video does play directly on my page as it warns it would. I would actually like for my music video to automatically play, or at least for the thumbnail of the video to be visible. What do you make of this?
I would not even consider it a bug…so again, great great work putting this Extrachill.Link into effect (:
