Tyler, The Creator. One of the genius minds of our generation, has released another masterpiece with “Chromakopia”. Outside of a ridiculous line up of features including Lil Wayne, Childish Gambino, Schoolboy Q, and more -the post production of this album is ridiculous and gives a deeper look into the formulation of Tyler through pre-teens and how that has molded his vision as a mogul. This is like the odyssey of Tyler in parallel to life from growing up, to Odd Future, to becoming FlowerBoy.

I don’t like it as much as Igor (which is one of those once-in-a-lifetime type projects) but it’s definitely a great project, especially on the production front. And though I don’t always like Tyler’s lyrics (too much dumb vulgarity and placeholder “fucks”) there are a lot of good lines and interesting topics dealt with. For me, last few songs in particular are the real killer ones.
