Twen are so freaking cool. In my personal opinion, everything they’ve made is gold. The reason I think this is because it sounds like true musical expression, it has a creative edge to it, and it clearly was not made to align with music industry expectations. Twen is the real deal.

I couldn’t be more excited to be working with this group for a show at the Charleston Pour House on June 9th. I’ve been a fan of them for a long time and we had been talking about doing a show together for a while, and we were finally able to make it work.

“Stunts” is out now, and it’s much different than their previous tune “SeaStar,” and I like it just as much.

One Stop Shop (for a fading revolution) is such a banger. It will certainly be getting a lot of streams on my summertime playlists

I’ve seen them in a bunch of different settings including on a huge stage at Austin City Limits in 2022. Pour House deck is a sick place for them to be playing in Charleston.

I love how they make videos for so many of their songs. And it’s a lot of DIY collabs with other creatives, self-directed, coming up with their own ideas. Band is good.

Twen just released another new single, just two days before their tour starts. “Lucky Onze” oozes with cool and continues to show the band’s versatility. They have now released three singles with distinct vibes and sounds, that still manage to come from the same universe.

I’m really excited to see them on the deck at Pour House this Sunday. I highly encourage anybody who lives in the region of Twen’s touring to go to a show this summer if you have the chance.
