Yldstein – “Can’t Slow Me”

This morning, the debut single, “Can’t Slow Me”, from the new rock project Yldstein was released. Yldstein is the solo project of Keith Wildstein, former frontman of the Charleston rock band Wildisiak, which called it quits about a year ago. Keith has recently moved from Charleston back to his hometown of Long Beach, NY for a temporary refresher course in New York weather. He’s playing a few shows this fall, and you can find those dates at the bottom of this article.

“Can’t Slow Me” is rock music in the same vein as what Wildisiak was making, but more polished and modernized. Keith experiments with some vocal effects here, which serves to smooth out his voice and contributes to that modern rock feel.
