Yesterday, Umphrey’s McGee and Friends with Benefits Productions announced The Woodlands Fall Music & Arts Festival, taking place at the Charleston Woodlands on November 8th and 9th, 2019. The 6000-acre property, which is also the host of the upcoming Into the Woods Festival and Skinful Halloween, will feature three stages for performances, as well as camping, hiking, kayak and stand-up paddle board rentals, and even fishing. Tickets to The Woodlands Festival are on sale now right here.
In addition to jam stalwarts Umphrey’s McGee playing four sets across two nights, The Woodlands Festival will also feature performances from Big Something, CBDB, Empire Strikes Brass, Heather Gillis Band, Manic Focus, Runaway Gin, Spafford, Sunsquabi, The Movement, The New Deal, Voodoo Visionary, and Zach Deputy, with more artists to be announced in the coming weeks.
The Woodlands Music & Arts Festival is also part of the 2019 Charleston Arts Festival, which promises to add an extra layer to the shenanigans at Charleston Woodlands this fall. The Charleston Arts Festival is a yearly event that highlights Charleston’s creative community, and I’m sure the folks behind it have some tricks up their sleeves for this one.
