The High Divers Release ‘A Very Divers Christmas’ EP

I heard whispers about the new Christmas EP from The High Divers, but I didn’t know it was going to be all originals. A Very Divers Christmas was released on Friday, which is the same day that The High Divers opened for Drivin N Cryin at the Charleston Music Hall. I got around to giving it a listen this morning, and I was definitely pleased with what I heard.
A Very Divers Christmas contains four brand new, original holiday tunes from The High Divers. My personal favorite is “Kris Kringle”. It sounds like something Bob Dylan would have released in the Blonde on Blonde era.
The band posted on Instagram yesterday that they will be spending the rest of the year working on new music, and we’ll see them in the Spring. That means we’ll probably hear some more new music from them in 2019. I look forward to seeing how they decide to follow their most recent full-length release, Chicora.
