The High Divers – “Already Won” (Video)

Earlier this week, The High Divers premiered the music video for their newest song, “Already Won”. The track comes from their new EP which will be released as a Bandcamp exclusive tomorrow, October 15th. The forthcoming EP is their second to be produced by Sadler Vaden (Jason Isbell & The 400 Unit) and recorded at Battle Tapes in Nashville. It follows the release of Ride With You last year.

“Already Won” is a groovy number that presents a positive outlook in the idea that if life’s a race, as they say, then perhaps we’ve already won. Meaning that we could all do well to take a step back and appreciate the things we’ve got.

The video for “Already Won” was filmed, as the High Divers said, in the “before times”, on the road, hanging out with friends, you know. I’m sure the footage wasn’t meant to feel nostalgic while it was being filmed, but it sure feels that way now. Here’s to hoping we get another chance to kiss Kevin on the mouth at a High Divers concert.
