Rose Moon at LO-Fi Brewing: A Mini-Festival with Local Roots
    Published: June 13, 2024

On Saturday, June 22nd, LO-Fi Brewing hosts their very own mini-festival, Rose Moon. This second festival that the brewery has self-produced and promoted, following the success of Electric Friends in 2023.

Rose Moon is a multi-faceted local event with music, food, and vendor collaborations that seeks to highlight artists, creatives, and chefs who have made an impact at the brewery within the past year.

The event runs from 6pm to midnight. Advance tickets are available for $20 here, jumping up to $30 on the day of the show (ticket includes entry only).

    Music & Vendors

Music lineup includes Veja Du, Human Resources, Tyrie, Amyrion, and DJ Sista Misses. A diverse array of local and former local artists — with Jeff Wilson of Amyrion returning from Los Angeles — all of whom perform unique and often-experimental music.

Kwei Wei and Beautiful South will join forces to craft a rare “joint menu” that celebrates both concepts.

Mon Frere will be serving ice cream.

Bar Rollins will have a wine bar. Emphasizing but not limited to Rosé.

Shepherd Records will have a curated selection of vinyl for sale.

Eyeland Graphics will be live printing Rose Moon event shirts. Attendees can choose from one of two design options and watch him print it on the spot.

Vintage air stream bus Dose – The Party Stream will be on site to provide an extra seating and hangout location.

    About the Name

The “Rose Moon” is an alternate name for the “Strawberry Moon,” which is the name of the full moon that happens around the summer solstice each year. At this time, the wild strawberries are ripe, the days are at their longest, and the summer heat is just beginning to burgeon.

Rose Moon Festival seeks to embody this spirit by giving all of its entertainers, patrons, and vendors, room to breathe and feel free. It has been carefully curated to represent the community, offering high quality entertainment at a local-friendly price point.
