This is the second song I wrote for my upcoming album, SAME DEVIL NEW SKIN. It’s a story song, a folk song, really. It’s a heartbreaking mystery…and so much more. This entire album is a love song to folk horror cinema, storytelling, music and independent art. I challenged myself in a number of different ways that I believe this song demonstrates. So far, it’s the most popular of the new material I’ve been performing in recent shows. I couldn’t be more proud of the work everyone did in bringing this song (and the entire album) to life. Featured here are the production team of Evan Simmons and Zac Thomas (Mixing and Mastering by David Baker and Stefan Heger respectively) and the incredible talents of Moses Andrews III, Zach Bingham and Lindsay Holler.
